This was one of my favorite sessions so far. I was gifted to Ashley by two very sweet women who were past clients of mine, and I am very thankful to them for that. When Ashley and I planned her session she invited me to the property where her and her husband were married. We planned to do a sunset session, but after several reschedules due to rain we decided to sneak the session in before another bout of rainstorms hit.
Ashley and Sam brought several keepsakes to their session. Their sweet baby girls first initial, ultrasound images, bibles, shot guns (I think they were shot guns... they were big and heavy), boots, and other special items that they felt described them were incorporated.
Sam took his role as smile maker very seriously and did a wonderful job getting these genuine smiles out of his beautiful wife.
Their marriage ceremony was performed on this dock.
I really think a pregnant mom is the most beautiful thing ever.
This image may be my favorite. Ashley and Sam were so great in front of the camera and their location was gorgeous so it makes it hard to choose.
Ashley and Sam have a wedding image in this same spot in a similar pose. We thought it would be fun to recreate a couple of those images.
I always love the Black and Whites!!!!!
A big thank you to Ashley and Sam for allowing me to be a part of their baby girls first memories. These two had such pleasant personalities and were a real joy to be around. I couldn't be happier for them as they set off on a new journey together as parents. Thank you again for having me!
Before and afters: Sometimes I think its fun to share my straight out of camera images vs. my final edit.
