I had a great time with this family. Mom requested a more urban location for this session, and I am so happy she did!
I was in love with the way the family dressed for their session.
Little brother wasn't too happy with wearing a hat and he also felt that his older brothers needed to have theirs removed too. Made for some cute candids.
Even with early morning sun, we were getting a lot of squinty faces, so we moved into a shady spot. The shade ended up giving the trains a deep, rich red that went great with the boys outfits. My husband kept remarking on how they looked like child models.

Mom said they hadn't had a couples shot taken in years, which meant we had to take some! Every couple (even these two that have three kids together) get the giggles when I ask them to look at each other. Always makes for the best, genuine smiles. Right before she started laughing I heard her say to her husband, "Why hello there."
Little man kept trying to escape and get back to his parents, so he took a few with them.
He's so rock n' roll

One of my favorite shots from the morning.
He was so sweet, and a little confused at why his mom kept plopping him down and running away haha!

I had a lot of fun with this new location and working with these shadows. Such a fun challenge.
Here are a few before and afters.

Black and Whites!

I loved that at the end of the session Dad brought out his best Oprah impression. His boys did so well he let them know "You get a donut, and YOU get a donut, and YOU GET A DONUT!"
Thank you so much to this family for allowing me to be their photographer! I hope you enjoy your images!
